Why do we exist?
Because the current economic system has already given its verdict: it concentrates capital in 1 % of the population while people and the environment are destroyed ever faster. And because the way out is not the war of a century ago: it is a technical, orderly, designed transition.

Vision
To integrate the emotional knowledge of the human being as a vital part of the health of the Being, and to make this new economy the foundational structure to achieve it.
Values
Life. The human being with everything that implies: physical, mental and emotional aspects. Love. Kindness.
Values are the compass that guides productive efforts: the activities that most favor life come first. That is why the order is strict — first air, then water, then food — because we can live longer without food than without water, and the most indispensable resource is the air you breathe.

The human being at the center
Integral health
Health is not the absence of illness. It is the complete state of well-being of the Being: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and environmental.
Not recognizing the emotional sensitivity of the human being is, in itself, an act of violence. A purely materialist society perpetuates it every day, and the result is a profoundly sick humanity.
How many people form your emotional support circle?
If you are lucky, over an entire lifetime there is only one person who knows and listens to your feelings. And that person is not available to you one hundred percent of the time.
We live emotionally abandoned. The foundation we build is also for that.
The destination
Kinam: the destination
Kinam is the state of balance between society, economy and knowledge. Reaching it takes two times that do not contradict each other:
The first time is abrupt. Changing the Calpulli's material conditions —financial resources, infrastructure, tools— is the cornerstone that moves everything. Without that concrete change, no later process is possible.
The second time is slow and diverse. Once the material conditions have changed, social relations, forms of production and communication begin to move at each community's own rhythm. That diverse process is the one that reaches, over time, the balance.
And Kinam is only the foundation. Once survival and material well-being are secured, the human being is not made to produce endlessly:

All under the action of Love. Enjoying opens the door, knowing deepens what is enjoyed, growing is the natural result of living attentively what one knows. And love is the force that runs through the whole process: without it, enjoyment is empty, knowledge is cold and growth never arrives.
The ethical method
We do not prohibit: we document
Trying to write down everything that cannot be done would lower us to a very low level of reasoning. In Altepetl, what would be prohibited in another scheme is registered: projects that contradict the values receive negative weight in the prioritization system and are not attended until their negative impact is reduced to a fair margin.
There is no central judge deciding: there are communities that reason. The record is more precise and harder to evade than any written rule, because it does not depend on a sanction: it depends on the record.
The root
A continuity of millennia
Altepetl's reference culture is the Meshica, because this project represents the continuity of theirs: the most ambitious of its era, the enrichment of the Being. The Meshica are the latest and most refined synthesis of a much longer tradition —Olmec, Teotihuacan, Maya, Zapotec, Mixtec, Toltec— on the same territory: the Cem Anahuac.
Eurocentric thought could not understand that project. It reduced collaboration relations to "tribute" and called wars processes that were not, because in the Anahuac the concept of war as known in Europe did not even exist.
About the name: Meshica (me-shi-ca) is the original name. "Aztec" is a later label, imposed from outside. Using the original name is reclaiming one's own voice over the voice imposed by the victor.
The theological frame, for its part, is deliberately and temporarily excluded to make access to the project easier. In its place, two values that encompass any existing theological construction: kindness and love.
